What are invocations? In a real sense these are requests which come from the bottom of our hearts to Allah Almighty. Allah is always ready and happy to receive prayers from anyone at any time.
If you’re facing any difficulties or trouble you should immediately turn to Allah for help. The best invocations are those narrated by the Prophet (S). If you don’t speak Arabic, you can pray in your mother tongue.
When we pray we should feel assured that Allah will accept our requests. We should do so with complete sincerity and devotion.
Prayers can be made at any time, but there is a greater possibility our prayers will be accepted if we do so at specific times.

The subject matter of this work has preoccupied and continues to preoccupy the minds of our Nation?s members; yet in spite of this preoccupation, many people lack a correct understanding regarding it. Because the issues that fall under the subject matter of this work are so important, I decided to write this work, through which I hope to make plain the way to live and act according to what Allah has revealed.
Contrary to what some may think, this work is relevant not just to leaders, but to every individual as well. Each and every human being is a leader and chief of sorts, for just as a ruler is responsible for the welfare of his state and citizens, each one of us is responsible for his flock ? the members of his family and, more importantly, his own self?

Endangering the smooth running of its affairs, in relation to its vision, moral values, conducts, inter-relationship, and interests. It would be noticed that we, individual families and societies, are faced with the problem of how to relate with the overwhelming modern cultures that have been vigorously streamed on us from all nooks and crannies of the world. Moreover, in reality this problem is no more of relationship or management, the effect of those alien cultures has grown to being capable of causing a lot differences among people in our community, in relation to their manners, general practices and traditions, which are the main points of contest.
Also, Muslims generally are faced with the problem of illiteracy, poverty, and unemployment. Even among those who work, a large percentage of them engage in hard corporal jobs.
Consequently, all these have affected the level of attention the parents pay to their families, in terms of planning their family lives and projecting for the upbringing and future of their children. Whenever a Muslim woman has a question about her religion, she should seek the answer in the Qur’an (Allah’s revealed Word) and the Sunnah (the example in word and deed) of His Prophet Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). If the answer is not found in these two sources, she should look to trustworthy Muslim scholars for help. She is encouraged to read, study, and learn as much as she can about her religion, for the search for religious knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim individual. A Muslim woman who is learning about her religion finds out quickly that the menstrual period and the period of bleeding after childbirth (postpartum bleeding) are times for her to leave off certain acts of worship such as formal prayer and fasting. It is important for believing women to be aware of exactly which acts are forbidden and which ones are permitted to them in these situations. Muslims today, especially – but not exclusively – those living in the West, are faced with a variety of problems. There are the internal struggles of living an Islamic lifestyle in a world dominated by Western culture, the conflicts between parents and children, the challenge of being single in a society where one is surrounded by temptations, the frustration caused by parents who refuse to allow their children to get married, the strains on marriages, the repercussions of terrorist actions perpetrated by Muslims, the effects of racism, the confusion among the various ideologies of Muslims today, and various other trials confronting our communities. We need a book for English readers that tackles these issues, explaining the reasons for these problems and providing specific recommendations for handling them, based on the Qur’an and the authentic Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (blessings and peace be upon him). How to Make It in Today’s World is such a book.
This is a treatise we have written concerning humility (Khushu’) and the hearts meekness and breaking (inkisar) before the Lord. The basic meaning of Khushu’, is the softness of the heart, its being gentle, still, submissive, broken, and yearning. When the heart is humble, so too is the hearing, seeing, heard, and face; indeed all the limbs and their actions are humbled, even speech. This is why the Prophet (saw) would say in his bowing (ruku), “My hearing, sight, bones, and marrow are humbled to You,” another narration has, “and whatever my foot carries.” One of the Salaf saw a man fidgeting in his prayer and remarked, ‘If the heart of this person was humble, so too would his limbs be.’ The source of the Khushu, that takes place in the heart is the gnosis of Allah’s greatness, magnificence, and perfection. The more gnosis a person has of Allah, the more Khushu’ he has. The greatest action of worship which manifests the Khushu, of the body to Allah is the prayer (Salaah). Allah has praised those who have Khushu’ in the prayer.
